In the new development area of "Burgweg West III" in Köngen, weisenburger bau GmbH constructed five modern multi-family houses with a total of 55 apartments on behalf of the weisenburger projekt GmbH. In the summer of 2020, the project developer and builder won the competition announced by the municipality of Köngen, prevailing over ten other participants with its planning and development of the neighborhood. The residential concept offers space for a wide variety of lifestyles: from compact one-room apartments to spacious four-room apartments, with living spaces ranging from 41 to 132 square meters.

Sustainability and Energy Efficiency in Focus

The project stands for future-oriented construction: all buildings meet the requirements of the German Building Energy Act (GEG 2020) and comply with the BEG Efficiency House 55 EE standard as defined by the KfW. Sustainable energy supply is ensured by modern air-to-water heat pumps in combination with photovoltaic systems.

Thoughtful Features for Modern Living

The apartment features are tailored to the needs of contemporary living: accessible floor plans, floor-to-ceiling windows, and spacious outdoor areas such as balconies or rooftop terraces create bright, welcoming spaces.
A shared underground car park with additional bicycle parking offers practical convenience on site. The concept is complemented by a repair café, which is a communal space designed to strengthen neighborhood interaction.
