Construction project and building structure

The construction project comprises the construction of a modern and multifunctional building that houses a total of 18 barrier-free apartments, 2 stores, 2 office units and a spacious bank branch. The three-storey, angular building has a total area of 2,500 square meters, with around 500 square meters allocated to the regional branch of Volksbank pur and 400 square meters to the commercial units. The remaining 1,600 square meters are available for residential use.

Sustainability and energy standards

The building was planned and constructed in accordance with the criteria of the Building Energy Act (GEG 2020). This planning not only includes the insulation properties of the building envelope, but also integrates modern, energy-saving building technology. The project thus sets an example for sustainability and energy-efficient construction.

Living and parking facilities

The 18 apartments are designed to be barrier-free and are accessible via an elevator. They offer modern living comfort with amenities such as underfloor heating, a garden area, a terrace or a balcony. Each apartment is allocated a parking space, with a total of almost 60 parking spaces available on the premises. These are spread across the front of the building and in an underground garage pushed into the slope. There are also charging stations for electric cars, which highlight the environmentally friendly nature of the project.

Usage concept and bank branch

Volksbank's new regional branch is located on the first floor of the building. This modern branch combines the functions of the four previous locations in Stein, Bilfingen, Königsbach and Eisingen and offers spacious rooms for consultations, a service zone with cash desks, a self-service area with ATMs and statement printers as well as a cabin for video services. In addition, the branch includes safety boxes.
