With the completion of construction works on Holländerstraße, a modern parish hall has been established in Karlsruhe-Daxlanden. It serves as a place for encounter, exchange, and community. The new building replaces an outdated and dilapidated structure, marking an important step towards a contemporary and future-oriented parish life.
At the heart of the new facility is a spacious, light-filled main hall on the ground floor. Equipped with modern lighting and event technology, it offers flexible spaces for gatherings, celebrations, and cultural events. The building also includes youth rooms, ancillary and storage areas, as well as modern sanitary facilities.
The building was constructed in accordance with the German Building Energy Act (Gebäudeenergiegesetz GEG 2020) and meets the standards of an Efficiency House 55 EE under the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG) scheme. A sustainable energy supply is ensured by an air-to-water heat pump, and the green flat roof helps improve the local microclimate.
Thanks to its central location right next to the church, the new parish hall is optimally integrated into the social and ecclesiastical life of the community. Its modern architecture blends harmoniously into the local surroundings, offering new impulses for communal life in Daxlanden.
