With a ground-breaking ceremony, weisenburger projekt GmbH has officially commenced construction of the “EbenGärten” residential development in Landau. On the last remaining building plot of the former Landesgartenschau site, the first phase will see the construction of three apartment buildings comprising a total of 40 modern owner-occupied flats.
At the ceremony, Sven Müller, Managing Director of weisenburger projekt GmbH, and Mayor Dr Dominik Geißler welcomed numerous guests, including representatives from the city planning office, the weisenburger Group, as well as some of the future residents, who were given a personal insight into their new homes.
The housing offering ranges from compact two-bedroom flats to spacious four-bedroom apartments, with living areas between approximately 57 and over 100 square metres. All apartments comply with the energy-efficient KfW-40 standard and hold QNG certification. They are equipped with modern building technology such as heat pumps and photovoltaic systems. The sustainable neighbourhood is complemented by underground parking, lifts, and generous outdoor spaces, ensuring a high level of residential comfort.
“With EbenGärten, we are creating modern and energy-efficient living space in a central location. The combination of an excellent site, sustainable construction, and high-quality living standards makes this project a flagship for urban development,” emphasised Sven Müller. Mayor Dr Geißler also highlighted the great significance of the project for the city’s urban planning.
The second phase, which includes two further apartment buildings, is already in preparation and will soon be opened for sales.
