Yesterday, on 5 June 2024, the foundation stone was ceremoniously laid for a new construction project in Seestraße in Ettlingen. The city of Ettlingen is planning modern accommodation for refugees with 12 residential units.

weisenburger bau GmbH is delighted to be able to realise this project. The flats have basements, two stairwells, car and bicycle parking spaces and a playground for small children.

Particular emphasis is placed on accessibility and environmental friendliness: The flats on the ground floor are designed to be completely barrier-free. The building will be constructed using sustainable hybrid timber construction and equipped with a photovoltaic system on the roof. No tropical timber will be used. The building will also be equipped with an environmentally friendly air/water heat pump, which will ensure energy-efficient heating.

The project is characterised by a high degree of prefabrication. This includes prefabricated exterior walls in timber construction with windows already installed at the factory, system balconies and prefabricated installation walls.
