On September 4th, a special milestone was celebrated in Waghäusel: with the traditional topping-out ceremony for the new medical center, the construction project has entered its next crucial phase. Following the official speeches and the ceremony, a shared meal provided the perfect setting for all guests to toast to the successful progress of the build.
A modern building complex is being erected on Lorenz-Brentano-Allee that will sustainably strengthen the local medical infrastructure. A key focus lies on dental care: alongside two dental practices, the facility will house its own dedicated dental laboratory. The space is further complemented by flexible laboratory and conference areas.
The project also sets high standards in terms of sustainability. The building is designed to meet the criteria of the German Building Energy Act (Gebäudeenergiegesetz – GEG) and will feature a climate-friendly air-water heat pump system, ceiling cooling, a dedicated photovoltaic system, and a green roof. Barrier-free access with a passenger elevator and pre-equipped EV charging stations in the parking area round out the concept.
The topping-out ceremony convincingly demonstrates what can be achieved when everyone involved works hand in hand. Our heartfelt thanks go to all project partners as well as the entire team on site and behind the scenes for their tireless dedication in realizing this ambitious project.
