In Ludwigshafen, the new Alfred-Delp-Haus on Hemshofstraße celebrated its official inauguration and festive handover of keys. During a festive service, the modern new building, constructed by weisenburger bau GmbH for Gemeinnütziges Siedlungswerk Speyer GmbH (GSW), was blessed by Diocesan Administrator Markus Magin and officially put into service. This creates a central location in the Hemshof district that seamlessly combines social commitment, parish life, and contemporary housing.

The five-story building comprises a total of 18 apartments (17 of which are publicly subsidized). On the ground floor are the parish office of the St. Cäcilia parish and a light-filled community hall that serves as a space for gathering and community.

The project is also impressive from an energy perspective: the new building meets the demanding KfW 40 standard and is equipped with a photovoltaic system to sustainably supply power to the community areas.

weisenburger would like to thank all project participants for the trustful collaboration and the successful implementation of this special construction project.
