Ground-breaking ceremony for major project "Leopoldshöfe" in Riegel

Riegel – The ground-breaking ceremony signals the start of the major project “Leopoldshöfe”. On the former ZG site in Riegel, 37 apartments, ten terraced houses, as well as two commercial units will be built, offering nearly 5,000 square metres of residential space. The multi-million euro project will be realised from start to finish by weisenburger bau as the main contractor, ready for occupancy.

After searching for many years, finally a development concept has been found for the former ZG site between Kaiserstuhlbahn and the town centre. The construction project is hugely important due to its size, but also due to the investment sum of 14.5 million euros.

Three building complexes will be created on a total area of 4,500 square metres. An apartment block with four storeys has 29 apartments to offer, each with between 53 and 158 square metres of floor space. Another building is home to eight residential and two commercial units, which are going to be used as practices for general medicine and physiotherapy. In addition to that, ten terraced houses will be built. Each of these offers living space of approx. 145 square metres and each has its own little garden. Between the buildings, there is a green space like a park, inviting you to stay a while. Underneath the site, an underground garage will be built with 53 parking spaces as well as cellars and function rooms. Above ground, there will be an additional 20 car parking spaces available.

The ground-breaking ceremony was attended by the Mayor Markus Jablonski, Dirk Ziser, Managing Director and owner of the Ziser Real Estate Group, Architect Thomas Nagel, and Matthias Ryzlewicz, Managing Director of weisenburger bau.
