With the ceremonial foundation-stone laying on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, the official start was given for an exciting new project for the future. In the historic center of the Merklingen district, weisenburger is constructing a modern kindergarten quarter along with two apartment buildings comprising a total of 23 residential units and a shared underground garage.
The ceremonial event began with speeches by the mayor representing the building owner, as well as the head of day-care centers from the Department of Youth and Social Welfare. Afterwards, the Managing Director of weisenburger bau and the head of the kindergarten addressed the attendees. A special highlight was provided by the local children, who brought smiles to everyone's faces and created a wonderful atmosphere with a specially rehearsed foundation-stone song. As a grateful surprise, the weisenburger team handed out gift-filled promotional bags and kites for the children to fly.
weisenburger looks forward with great pleasure to the realization of this forward-looking quarter and extends its sincere thanks to everyone involved for their trust and collaborative partnership in this exciting project phase.
