On Thursday, 21 March, the topping-out ceremony took place for the new residential complex on the corner of Kirchstrasse and Schlossstrasse, which is being realised by weisenburger bau GmbH on behalf of Gemeinnütziges Siedlungswerk Speyer (GSW) and the Herta Kuhn Foundation.

The residential complex, consisting of two full storeys and an attic storey, will make an important contribution to the housing supply in Speyer. The ground floor will house a residential care group with ten rooms as well as communal and ancillary rooms. The floors above offer space for a further nine residential units. The top floor contains storage rooms assigned to the individual flats and the boiler room. Of the total of 19 flats, 16 are subsidised by the state.

This milestone was duly celebrated together with the partners and tradesmen involved. We would like to thank everyone involved and wish them every success for the upcoming construction phase.
