Topping-out ceremony in Weingarten (Baden)

The construction project in the Ringstraße in Weingarten (Baden) is progressing with great strides and taking shape. An important milestone of the construction project was celebrated: the topping-out ceremony. This took place on 31 March 2023. Despite the mixed weather, everyone involved was lucky because the celebration could take place outdoors as planned. In keeping with tradition, the symbolic last nail was hammered into the beam and a topping-out speech was recited by carpenter Thomas Baumstark. The builders and the weisenburger team were proud of the progress of the project and thanked all the partners, architects, engineers and craftsmen involved for their work and commitment.

About the project: In addition to two apartment buildings with a total of 43 residential units, twelve terraced houses with basements of the "Style 580" type are being built on the historic site of the old tobacco shed. The generously planned and jointly usable underground garage offers space for 89 cars. The new building "Wohnen am Tabakschopf" also relies on renewable energies, so that more than 55 percent of the heat energy is generated from renewable sources. The building project is being realised together with TEG Eigenheime GmbH.
